We support the Mountain Children Home (MCH) in Kathmandu, Nepal. This facility provides orphans and children in need with protection, education, and a loving environment. Our partnership allows us to actively contribute to improving the living conditions of these children and to open up a sustainable perspective for them.
The home is located within Shivapuri National Park, a tranquil yet challenging environment. The remote location offers a close connection to nature, but also presents logistical challenges.

Nepal struggles with economic and social challenges, exacerbated by natural disasters such as the 2015 earthquake, which claimed countless lives and destroyed the MCH home. Approximately one million orphans – nine percent of the population – are affected by poverty, disease, and lack of education.
MCH not only offers them a home, but also education, healthcare and psychological support. Despite the reconstruction, the facility does not yet meet all state requirements, which underlines the need for further improvements.

Our commitment makes a lasting contribution to positive local development. Through regular visits to the MCH, we experience the progress of our support firsthand.
